Literature Text
I close my eyes
in darkness deep,
awaiting the embrace of sleep.
my last escape
from a world of lies
and foes wearing a friend's disguise.
and as I fall into sleep's hands,
submit myself to her commands,
does she let my mind fall still
and empties it, for dreams to fill.

Wish
Some wish to be rich,
While some wish to be wise.
Some wish to stop that itch,
Others wish of winning a prize.
Some wish to be known,
Some wish they could be a star.
Some wish to sit on the throne,
And some wish that they could hide their scars.
Some wish their life was different,
Some wish their life had ended.
Some wish that they could be indifferent,
Some wish their life could be extended.
We all wish for something,
Maybe one of those mentioned above.
We should work towards that thing,
Even if we wish for just some love.

Like a parasite, can it consume you
but only by the filthy hands
of invited demons.
Faith is both gift & privilege
accepted into heart & mind
by the words of a truthful tongue.
In days to come, shall you hear
the drums of war over & around
The plains of existence, and f

If you wait for stars to fall..
If you wait for the stars to fall,
Life seems to slip quicker by,
and soon, before you even now,
You have a boy who's grown so tall.
That boy will look to the starry skies at night,
His eyes sparkling with childish desires,
and when you look at him, you see yourself,
he's just like you, but not quite.
You see he's not waiting for a star to fall,
He's already caught one, right in his hands.
He opens his fists to show you
And out flutters a photo of wall.
Against that wall, sit two doves,
Between them, an olive twig.
But their branch was rejected,
their forbidden love never forgives

Have you ever had a dream that made it almost too painful to awake? Well, I've been having nothing but nightmares recently, so I wanted to write something about the good dreams I used to have.
And no, the pic isn't mine.
